Accessing the Netflix App on your Samsung Smart TV

The video below demonstrates the process for connecting to Netflix on your apartment's Samsung Smart TV.

Enjoy your favorite show or movie!

Step 1: Turn on the television

Step 2: Wait 30 seconds

Step 3: Press the "SmartHub" button on the bottom half of the remote

Step 4: Select "Netflix" and click "Enter"

Step 5: If you get an error go back to Step 2

Step 6: Use the arrow and Enter keys to select your favorite programming!

Please note that we do not provide cable, only Netflix

Signing out of Netflix (so you can sign into a new account)

To sign out of the Netflix account on your device, follow the steps below.

Sign out of Netflix

  1. Begin from the Netflix home screen.
  2. Navigate left to open the menu, then select Settings.
    • If you do not see a menu when you navigate left, navigate up and select Settings or the gear icon  .
  3. Select Sign out.
  4. Select Yes to confirm.
  5. You will now be given the option to sign in as a different Netflix member.

If you cannot locate Settings or the gear icon:

  1. From within the Netflix app, use the arrows on your remote to enter the following sequence:
    Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up.
  2. Select Sign out, Start Over, Deactivate, or Reset.
  3. You will now be given the option to sign in as a different Netflix member.
