Create a custom field in Guesty to turn automations on or off

Follow this article to create a custom field in Guesty with a switch that will turn automations on or off. If you are looking to turn off an automated guest message, follow this article.

Step 1: Click account then click "System Settings"

Step 2: Click "Custom fields"

Step 3: Click "Reservations"

Step 4: Enter the following info

  1. Name of message
    1. Use this format- {message name} {(Channel- time message should go out)}
    2. E.g. Morning of arrival (SMS- 9 am day of arrival)
  2. Select "Yes/No" from the dropdown
  3. Click Add

Include the name of the custom field in the email.
