Dream Big Villa Rental Information

 

BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL

TRAVEL DATES:

Please complete and return the attached Dream Big Villa guest travel information form.  Please provide travel information for all guests.

 

AGREEMENTS:

Please complete and execute the provided Use and Occupancy agreement. 

 

ROOM ASSIGNMENTS:

Attached is a property map with room descriptions.  Please complete and return the room assignment form so that our housekeeping staff may plan accordingly.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION:

A vehicle is not provided with your rental.

Airport transfers are included and will be finalized upon receipt of occupant travel information. 

If you would like to rent a vehicle, there are several major car rental companies at PLS airport.  Grace Bay car rentals has pick up and drop off directly at the airport, the others require a short shuttle ride.  Here are a few options:

CATERING:

If you are interested, we can help you coordinate some meals prepared in home by a private chef.  You may reach out directly to Vanessa Alcantara, or coordinate with Mary to ensure all meals are planned to your specifications.

If you would like to dine out, there are many fine restaurants on island.  Recommendations are as follows:

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES:

There are several scuba and snorkeling adventures nearby and many people enjoy nearby Sapodilla Bay beach.  If you would like to rent Jet Skis, go tubing or try anything more adventurous we recommend Silly Creek Water Sports or Tropical Waves Water Sports. They will pick you up right at the dock.  Be sure to reserve in advance.

UPON YOUR ARRIVAL

FORMS FOR ENTRANCE INTO THE COUNTRY:

You will be required fill out forms during your inbound flight to give to the Customs Officers before exiting the airport.

DIRECTIONS:

DRIVING IS ON THE LEFT. Take Airport Road to roundabout “Welcome to Turks & Caicos Island”.  Staying on your left, follow roundabout to make the right turn and make an immediate left onto “Old Airport Road”. Go straight to the end of the road to another roundabout. Staying on your left, make a right onto South Dock Road. Stay on South Dock Road for 3.2 miles, you will see the Chalk Sound Police Station on your right.  Make a right onto Chalk Sound Drive.  Dream Big is about one mile up the road on the left.  We have a green sign that says Dream Big Villa.  We are the last driveway before Ocean Drive.

GATE CODE:

To enter the property, the gate code is 2020. The gate will close automatically.  Upon arrival you will be given a gate remote control to place in your vehicle.  This must be returned at checkout along with the house keys.

WIFI:

The WiFi name is DBV and the password is dreambig (all lower case).  Please note that the island often has power surges or storms, which can cause the power and Internet to go down completely. These outages are usually resolved within a few hours.

FOOD:

There are two major grocery stores on island: a large IGA on Leeward Highway and a small Gourmet IGA in the Grace Bay area (this one provides more prepared meals and organic options).  For your arrival, we are happy to stock the house with your initial grocery list.  Please see the attached grocery form {INSERT LINK}.  Please keep in mind that the island is very expensive (Cheerios can be $10) and the selection can vary.  The total cost of the groceries/supplies must be reimbursed by the rental party.  Receipts will be provided.

ALCOHOL:

Alcohol is sold in grocery stores and some convenience stores.  If you would like to place a large order in advance, you may contact the Wine Cellar.  They also deliver to the house for a nominal fee. We are also happy to pre-stock any alcohol before your arrival.        

Alcohol is not available for purchase on Sundays.

OTHER GUESTS:

No other guests are allowed on property, at any time, except those who have signed and are specifically detailed in the Use and Occupancy agreement. 

WATER EQUIPMENT:

All kayaks, paddle boards and other equipment are available for your use at your own risk.

TENNIS COURT:

You have use of the tennis court, basketball hoop and game equipment.  These are again at your own risk.  If you choose to play tennis at night, please ask the staff to turn on the lights.

ON-SITE STAFF:

Our caretaker, Arnold, lives on site and will be happy to answer questions.  His main responsibilities are: pool and grounds maintenance and general upkeep.  He is also the point person for any requests.  The housekeeping staff will be on-site during each day you are on property between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm.

Additionally, various gardeners, pool technicians, etc. may be required on property during your stay.  We do our absolute best to keep this to a minimum.

TIPS:

Tips are not required but greatly appreciated for Arnold and the housekeeping staff.  Please note that you do not need to provide tips to the gardeners, groundskeepers or any other service people.

ISSUES:

If you notice any needed maintenance or other issues, please bring it to our attention right away.  We will do our best to correct the issue immediately.
