City office staff layout and work flow

Follow this guide to set up your Front layout correctly and use the proper work flow, which will help you prioritize your responses and avoid unecessary notifications.

Layout

The following tags should be visible on the left side of your screen.

  1. Emergency {City, State}
  2. Escalate {City, State}
  3. Maintenance {City, State}- only visible for the Maintenance Coordinator and the City Manager
  4. Urgent Maintenance {City, State}

The following inboxes should be visible under "Team inboxes":

  1. {City, State}

Workflow

Address messages in the following order:

  1. Messages that are in the "Emergency {City, State}" tag- the first person to see this message should address it immediately.
  2. Messages that are in the "Urgent Maintenance {City, State}"- the first person to see this message should address it immediately.
  3. Messages that are in the "Maintenance {City, State}" tag- only handled by the Maintenance Coordinator and supervised by the city manager
  4. Messages that are in the "Escalate {City, State}" tag
  5. Messages that are in the "{City, State}" inbox
