Updated 2 years ago by Nishant Kumar

In this section we will how to find the building info and record them in the sheet.

Step 1: Go to the sheet and copy the building address.

Step 3: Search for the address on Hubspot.

Step 4: Enter results under "In Hubspot" column.

If the result is found in Hubspot, we do need to follow the remaining steps as the property information is already available. Proceed with the below steps only if no result was found in Hubspot.

We have set it to No since no matching result was found.

Step 5: To check "Total Units", go to "apartments.com" and search for the address.

You can search for the address on Zillow, Google or any other website for the property info if it is not available on Apartments.com.

In the example below, we found a match on Apartments.com.

Step 6: Scroll down to the "Property Information" section.

Total units information is listed on apartments.com property page under "Property Information" section.

Step 7: Enter results under "Total Units" column.

Step 8: To check "2 br's available in next 60 days", click on '2 bedrooms' tab and count number of units available.

In order to check the available units, you need to check for the date which is 60 days from today. For example, if today is 26th March, you need to check for the availability till 26th May. In our example below, we found 3 units available.

Step 9: Enter results under "2 br's available in next 60 days" column.

Step 10: To check "3 br's available in next 60 days", click on '3 bedrooms' tab and count number of units available.

In order to check the available units, you need to check for the date which is 60 days from today. For example, if today is 26th March, you need to check for the availability till 26th May. In our example below, we found no units available for those dates.

Step 11: Enter results under "3 br's available in next 60 days" column.

Step 12: Check for "2 br avg price".

If there is only one price mentioned, you do not need to do the calculation as below. You can directly copy and paste the number in sheet.
  1. Click on '2 bedrooms' tab and highlight and copy the data for units available .
  2. Go to the sheet and create a new tab by clicking on "+".
  3. Paste the copied data.
  4. If there is a range, we need to use only the lower number. You should remove the '-' and number after that.
  5. Highlight the amount by selecting the cells
  6. Note down the avg price (make sure that average function is selected)

Step 13: Enter results under "2 br avg prices" column.

Step 14: Check for "3 br avg price".

Repeat steps 10 & 11 to check the average price for 3 bedroom units. In our example since there are no 3 bedroom units available, we will set it to "n/a".

Go to the listing page on apartments.com and copy the link. If you found the listing on another website, such as Zillow or the building website, you should copy the linkn from that website.

Step 17: Check for "Building website".

If the building does not have a website, we need to put "n/a
  1. Copy the property address and search in Google for it.
  2. Click on the website link.
  3. Copy the link of website.

Step 18: Enter results under "Building website" column.

Step 19: Check for "Leasing phone".

We should always get the leasing phone from building website to get the most accurate number. If it is not available there we should check in Apartments.com or Zillow. In our example, the phone number is available on website on the home page itself.

Step 20: Enter results under "Leasing phone" column.

Step 21: Check for "Lead source" and enter results.

Lead source is where the listing links is from. In our example, the listing link is from "Apartments.com", therefore we will select "Apartments.com" from the dropdown.
