The gate code is #2017.

The apartment door code is the last 4 digits of the phone number you provided when you made your reservation, followed by the check mark, ✓.

2. Notify us of any maintenance issues in the apartment.

Local bag storage info

If you arrive in the area before your check-in time (4pm) or leave the area after your checkout time (11am) you may be wondering if there is a solution to store your bags. It is against our policy to hold bags for guests, we cannot do this for you.

Building management at The Hyve also does not offer this service, please do not ask them to hold your bags. We would like to maintain a good relationship with our community and they have explained to us that this is not something they can do for anyone.

Unfortunately, due to federal security restrictions imposed by the Transportation Security Administration, luggage storage is also not available at the Sky Harbor Liberty International airport (PHX). We recommend that you check with the airline you are flying to see how early you can check in your luggage or other items. Some airlines work with a local storage company that could provide the service you are looking for.

Unfortunately we do not have any local services that store luggage.

We highly recommend using a car rental rather than public transportation, however public transportation is possible in the area if you prefer it.

The area is serviced by Valley Metro and the nearest station is a bus-stop at Mayo Bl & Allied Wy. This stop is 16 minutes walk from The Slate. This bus-stop is frequented only by one bus, the 162 bus. A bus comes to this stop every half hour, with the exception of 1am to 5am, during which there is no bus service at this stop.

You can connect from The Slate to PHX using a combination of the 44 bus and the 186 bus. Below is an example of a potential route to take from PHX to The Slate.

There is one designated space in the gated parking lot of The Slate for your apartment exclusively.

You may park in any uncovered space while you wait but we ask that you try to use only your space.

If you have two cars you may use one of the uncovered spaces in addition to your reserved space.

Laundry info

A washer and dryer is provided in your unit. You may find it in one of the closets near your kitchen. Contained in the closet are also dryer sheets and laundry detergent that you may use. We do not offer any laundry service during your stay.

If you require a dry-cleaning service we can recommend Naturalcare Cleaners. It is the nearest dry-cleaning facility and is located at 7025 E Mayo Blvd #108. It is a 4 minute drive from The Slate. Visit their website at naturalcarecleaners dot com.

Package instructions

If you would like packages delivered to you during your stay please have them delivered to the Amazon locker in the building. When you purchase something on Amazon please make sure to select the closest locker. It will be located in the mail-room in the front-desk area in building A. The locker is large and orangey-yellow, it is difficult to miss.

Please do not have standard mail or small packages delivered to the apartment as they will end up in the mailbox and we are not able to provide the key to open it. If you do choose to have a letter or small package delivered to the apartment address rather than the amazon locked we cannot guarantee that we will be able to retrieve it for you during your stay. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Building Door Access

The gate code used to enter the parking lot or building doors is #2017. Every building has 2-3 callboxes where this code can be entered. After entering the code you will hear a tone. The tone signifies the door is unlocked. If you do not hear this tone try the code a second time. If you still do not hear a tone double-check that you are using the correct code and contact us for assistance: 602.857.8604.
