2.08 Virtual Host Standard Probation

Probation is very serious, but you aren't alone. Probation causes a heightened level of scrutiny for the virtual host but it is also a big deal for your manager! 

The terms of each probation depend on the circumstances that led to it as well as the individual that is on probation. In general, probation will result in increased scrutiny of your work and greater demands for punctuality.

You can expect executives to measure your performance, AND to investigate your manager. 

We want to overcome misunderstandings, fix problems, and move on.

Probation can be caused by any of the following

  1. More than 10% of responses take more than 5 minutes.
  2. Breaks taken are in excess of 30 minutes for every 4 hour time period. If this happens more than twice, you will be placed on probation.
  3. Breaks are not announced. If this happens more than 3 times, you will be placed on probabtion.
  4. Etiquette with guests is continuously "uncomfortable", "rude" or otherwise against regulation

Once placed on probation, we will reasses your performance for the next two weeks. If performance metrics have not improved to the above probation level, you will be terminated.
Please make us aware of any issues that could cause these metrics to suffer. If you have an Internet outage, you should use the Front App on your phone to message your manager. If that doesn't work, you can email your manager from your phone.
